The bridge connects two coasts of Kura river in Tbilisi. Because of its form, the locals call it Always towel. It is not a surprise as it is the first thing that comes to mind when you look at the bridge.
Practical point of view
The bridge made the life of those who live and travel in Tbilisi easier, simplifying coming from a new region to the Old city that represents one whole place of interest.
The Bridge creation
The bridge was engineered not in Georgia, the Italian architecture Michele de Lucchi created 200 details that were delivered to Georgia disassembled. And when Georgian specialists assembled everything, there appeared such a unique structure. The bridge creation took place in 2010. The bridge length is more than 150 meters, there are no less than 10 000 lamps, when the sun goes down (specifically in an hour and a half before the dusk) and the lamps are turned on, you will be able to see an unforgettable view: the bridge is shining bright.

According to Michele de Lucchi the message sent is about that all the people and folks must live in peace. How did he do it? The flash lamps send with the help of Morse code the elements from the periodic table but only those from which consist a man`s body.
Feedbacks
However, local people were unsatisfied with the bridge creation. According to their point of view, the new bridge does not suit the city that is fulled with historical places of interest.
Apart from the Georgian, the tourists are excited with the Bridge of Peace and try to take many photos against the bridge and come in the evening in order to see “luminescent show”.
